This program was developed by speech-language pathologist Renee Roy Hill, MS, CCC-SLP, TalkTools instructor and expert in childhood apraxia of speech. It is excellent for clients with motor planning difficulties to transition from oral positioning activities to speech activities. The aids provide tactile stimulation for specific sounds -- /m/, /p/, /b/, /o/, /u/, /e/, /i/, /a/ -- so that the client can feel the position of the articulators during speech production. Combined with verbal and visual stimuli, they provide a multisensory approach to support speech. The program includes: 1X bilabial shapes, 1X tactile tubes, and 1X speech blocks, as well as demonstration videos.
