TalkTools® Jiggler Combo - Shark & ​​Turtle

Jiggler aids are effective for increasing sensory awareness in the jaw and lip muscles, reducing "fixation" or clenching in the jaw muscles, and/or meeting the need for temporomandibular joint (TMJ) stimulation as a substitute for bad oral habits. Additionally, each Jiggler can be used to meet more specific needs.

Shark - Therapeutic goals

GOAL #1: Increase sensory awareness and encourage acceptance of textures.

GOAL #2: Improve lip closure and tongue retraction prior to muscle-based exercises, feeding, and speech.

GOAL #1: Encourage feeding from the front and promote lip closure.

GOAL #2: Improve the rounding and protrusion of the lips and learn to sip with a spoon.

• Feeding: Sipping from a spoon and drinking from a straw
• OPT: Bubble blowing and rounded oral horns
