TalkTools® Jiggler Combo - Dragon & Frog

Jiggler aids are effective for increasing sensory awareness in the jaw and lip muscles, reducing "fixation" or clenching in the jaw muscles, and/or meeting the need for temporomandibular joint stimulation as a substitute for bad oral habits. Additionally, each Jiggler can be used to meet more specific needs.

ZMAJ - therapeutic goals:

GOAL #1: Improving sensory sensitivity.

GOAL #2: Improve lip rounding and tongue retraction. Feeding - drinking through a straw Oral motor positioning - blowing bubbles and round-ended mouthpiece Speech - /o/ /u/

GOAL #3: Improve lip rounding and lip protrusion with additional texture on the kite for clients who need additional sensory stimulation Feeding - drinking through a straw Oral motor positioning - blowing bubbles and round-ended mouthpiece Speech - /o/ /u/ /š/ /č/ /ć/ /ž/ /đ/ /dž/

FROG - therapeutic goals:

GOAL #1: Reduce "fixation" (tightening of the jaw muscles) before oral motor exercises, feeding, and speaking. It will meet the need for temporomandibular joint stimulation and resolve tonic bite.

GOAL #2: Increase sensory awareness, using smooth surfaces, jaw muscles, and lips before introducing oral motor exercises. Feeding - eating with a spoon and drinking from a cup Oral motor positioning - flat-ended mouthpieces, spatula activities to encourage lip closure Speech - /m/ /b/ /p/

GOAL #3: Improving lip rounding and protrusion Feeding - drinking through a straw Oral motor positioning - blowing bubbles and blowpipes with round tips Speech - /o/ /u/ /š/ /č/ /ć/ /ž/ /đ/ /dž/

CONTRAINDICATIONS: DO NOT use this device with clients who have epilepsy and whose seizures may be triggered by vibration. 🛑 Devices are intended for external use under adult supervision. Chewing these devices is not recommended.
