Sensory Friendly Bite Blocks (Purple)

An extremely useful aid that promotes symmetrical strength, stability, and gradation for clients with weak jaw musculature, which manifests during voice production or feeding skills (e.g., reduced mobility, jaw sliding or deviation). Like many Oral Placement Therapy aids, it is used for diagnosis and therapy. Excellent for use in cases of dysarthria, apraxia, and dyspraxia. Some clients prefer to bite into a softer surface when performing these exercises. Sensory jaw blocks function in the same way as the red ones, but are made of a softer, more flexible material.
