Duration Tubes

The length and durability of the exhale are key components of speech, as they allow us continuous vocalization or verbalization on a single exhale. It is important to focus on this if we are working on improving oral airflow with the help of activities described in "OPT for Speech clarity and feeding". Blowing tubes encourage the prerequisite skills needed for the straw hierarchy, bubble blowing hierarchy, and candle blowing. In these activities, the client should gradually use increasing strength and durability of the airflow. Blowing tubes provide a visual stimulus for the client to extend and better control the exhale.

Includes 3 blowing tubes (may be in different colors), 3 mouthpieces, 3 plastic balls, 3 fuzzy balls, and a Talk Tools instruction booklet.
