Self-feeding is a fundamental milestone in human development. By learning to feed themselves, children become independent, mastering fine motor skills, sensory regulation, and food exploration skills. If we offer them appropriate aids in this process, we will help them master these skills more easily.

The Itsy Collection is the brainchild of Sara Rosenfeld Johnson, founder of TalkTools. The set was designed and tested by speech therapists, occupational therapists, and their clients. The set promotes independent feeding for all children, including those with disabilities (e.g., sensory integration difficulties, developmental disabilities, etc.).
